Services Designed to Resolve Conflict
We help you avoid litigation.
Introduction
Disputes don’t have to end in courtroom battles. We guide families, professionals, and businesses toward resolutions that are balanced, fair, and sustainable. Mares Mediation turns conflict into collaboration, offering progress without the price or pressure of litigation.
Co-Mediation
We offer co-mediation, a model in which two mediators work together in a coordinated way to guide negotiations. This approach brings combined skills, perspectives, and support to the mediation process.
In co-mediation, sessions are led by two neutral professionals who mediate together as a team. This can enhance balance in the room, improve management of complex dynamics, and give parties the benefit of complementary professional backgrounds, communication styles, and perspectives.
For example, in family law matters, Cynthia Mares brings deep experience adjudicating disputes involving divorce, child support, and custody, while Charles Robertson contributes extensive expertise in complex financial analysis and the division of assets commonly involved in divorce and family law cases.
Nicole Givens adds further depth in cases involving housing, property, and asset-related disputes. Her background in resolving real estate, contract, and shared property conflicts complements Charles’s financial and construction-related experience, while her perspective as a single parent brings added insight and sensitivity to family law and parenting matters.
